Tom's Shop
This shop has plenty of space for multiple hobby interests.

Chiefland, FL

Most of us had to spend too many years working in a small crowded shop. Ten years ago we moved to the country and I was finally able to build my dream shop, one that had enough room to handle my multiple hobbies.
The building is 40 x 60, and is heated and air-conditioned. After teaching myself cabinetmaking, the shop now has over twenty shop-made cabinets and workbenches. This view shows many of them, plus the open area where projects can be built.

There is a large assembly area in front of my main workbench. The tablesaw is just on the right, and the bandsaw on the left. Behind the bench are all the smaller tools.

Clustered around the dust collector are my tablesaw, planer, and shaper. The jointer is out of site behind the workbench, near the planer.
There are many more photos in a shop tour that I recently submitted to Rod. If you would like to see more of my shop please click on this Shop Tours link.
