DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU!
The sad aftermath of a workshop fire.
This is what a two-story, 2,500-sf, dream shop looks like a week after a ravaging fire. I'm not going to whine about the value of the equipment or the incredible woods and veneers, or the 2,000 or so original drawings that I lost -- but I must say it has been a painful experience.
According to the Fire Marshal, the cause was electrical, due to arcing in or around the service entrance. I'm still trying to figure out what could have gone so terribly wrong, but when I do, you'll hear about it. I wouldn't want a single one of you to have to go through this experience if I could have possibly helped to avert it.
Think on these things, folks. Nobody's immune, and I'll wager most of you don't have the kind of insurance that will cover all your losses should the same fate catch up with you.
