PICTURE FRAMES THAT WOW
Accent strips create interest in these frames.

People seem to pay as much attention to a frame as to the picture it holds. At least that's so for those of us woodworkers who make our own picture frames. I like the “accent strip” frames not only because they look good but also because you can't buy them in a store. Like many things I've built, the "Wow" factor is important in my selection of projects to try. I can’t see spending my time in the shop making things that I can readily pick up from a store shelf. These frames certainly satisfied my selection criterion. My daughter is graduating from high school; her graduation portraits need special frames such as these to help pay tribute to all her years of hard work.
