This is the piece that started all my woodworking. I have always done some kind of artwork but until I started with wood about 18 months ago, I didn't realize the joy of it. I made this chess table for my husband, which features chess pieces I made from porcelain clay with 22k gold on the tops and bottoms, and a stained glass chessboard.
Another recent project is the red oak train I made with the help of my scroll saw and completed it by adding a mahogany base.
This is a snapshot of part of my shop. I work for a contractor, and for a bonus, he bought the bandsaw for me. Now that's a great boss!. . . Pansy Kline
