WORMY MAPLE TABLE
A big project from a cramped shop.
SHOP OWNER: Jeff Moyers
LOCATION: Fayetteville, TN
Here is a 48" Kitchen table that I just finished. The wood is wormy maple that I bought at a local sawmill. I constructed the top and pedestal, and bought the lion's paw feet from a outfit out of Canada. The lazy susan on the top is not attached to the table but I also made it, the bottom is walnut and the top rail is the wormy maple. I built this table and many other pieces of furniture out of my ** 12' x 16' **shop. Needless to say I am cramped for space. Help is on the way though, I just broke ground on a new shop 24' x 40' woohoo.
The maple is very good to work with. I had a great time with it and am about to start the corner china cabinet to match it.. . . Jeff Moyers
