Mystery Wood Cabinet

MYSTERY WOOD
A corner cabinet from salvaged shipping pallets.

SHOP OWNER: Donnie Stowe
LOCATION: Greensboro, NC

I made this cabinet from shipping pallets. The wood species is a mystery to me and so far, no one can identify it. It has many characteristics of pine but the birds-eyes make it unique. There were several boards like this, so it would seem that it is not an anomaly. The boards averaged about five inches in width, indicating a sizable tree. The finish is clear polyurethane.
