Sam's Nesting Tables

ON ANOTHER LEVEL
A desire for advancement yields beautiful results.

SHOP OWNER: Sam Meeker
LOCATION: Brimfield, IL

In the past, I have always done some farm construction, and built simple shelves, etc. I finally decided to try my hand at advancing my woodworking to a higher level of quality. These nesting tables are one of my first projects completed since then.
Sam's Nesting Tables

I used mortise and tenon joinery to attach the skirts to the legs, while the tops fasten to the bases with traditional wood block clips.
In addition, I decided to build them out of three different woods, white oak, walnut, and cherry. My wife is a fan of red oak, and I wanted to display these other woods to her. They turned out great.
