UNTIL THE COWS COME HOME
A workshop tour in a converted cow barn.
SHOP OWNER: Scott Lalonde
LOCATION: Parishville, NY
I thought I should post a few pictures of my getaway. I’m located in Parishville, New York, which is at the very northern-most part of the state. I’m very close to the Canadian and Vermont borders.
My shop is in what used to be a cow barn. To the best of my knowledge the barn was built somewhere around 1840, with an addition, which houses my shop, built sometime in the 50’s. It gives me a workspace of about 26’ x 30’. There are several definite inherent problems with the structure. The floors are terribly out of level and the ceiling height is only 7.5’ in spots. Right now, it's in a bit of disarray. The pictures show most of my tools.. . . Scott Lalonde
