HOUSING FOR THE BIRDS
Simple gifts - sure to please.

The first two pictures are of a couple of "themed" birdhouses I built. The larger one is made of pine 1x10, cut up, and glued together, with some drywall screws added for good measure. I built it for a Mothers' Day gift awhile back. It is approximately 16" tall by about 14" deep.
The smaller one is a "display house", painted to match the larger one and made of southern yellow pine. It measures about 6" tall by 4" deep. For those who don't know, 'Rock City' is in the Chattanooga area, and they used to pay farmers to paint their barns for advertising during the 30's and up into the 60's.
Finally, I built this bluebird house out of pine. It measures about 14" tall. Nothing fancy but they were fun projects and my mother loved them.. . . Ned Bulken
