A HOME FOR SPICES
A beautiful addition to any kitchen.

Shortcuts of mahogany went into the building this spice cabinet as a Christmas present for my wife. I book matched the panel on the front; however, due to a bad spot in the wood, I had to offset one of the panels a bit. Making the contoured door and panel raised a challenge and, after some cut and fit, I think it turned out okay.
Patterned after an antique spice cabinet, all drawers have hand-cut dovetails. One design consideration I didn't think out thoroughly, is that the door has to be open all the way before the drawers will pull out. Oh well, my wife likes it, and that's what counts.
