A cast-iron behemoth that really puts the squeeze on.
SHOP OWNER: Craig Chappelow
I bought this furniture clamp at a school auction about ten years ago. It is made mostly of cast iron and weighs a ton. The large handwheel is used to draw one of the large beams inward to clamp the sides of an assembly. The small handwheels on the right are then used to draw up the ends. These small wheels and the end blocks are all infinitely adjustable. You can imagine how useful this clamp is for all kinds of large projects. You can also imagine how much space it takes up when not in use (95% of the time). I use it to anchor my tablesaw outfeed table when I'm not clamping something, and I have built a cap for it that serves as a work surface....Craig Chappelow
