Joe's Oak Bookcase

OAK BOOKCASE
Inspired by a plan from American Woodworker Magazine.

SHOP OWNER: Joe Massena
LOCATION: Duluth, MN

The plan for this bookcase came from an issue of American Woodworker Magazine. The wood I used is oak veneer plywood and solid oak. The stain is Minwax Golden Oak, followed by three coats of Minwax natural Woodsheen. Joe's Oak Bookcase

I needed a place to store all of the books our children have accumulated as well as all of my woodworking books. This bookcase provided ample space for that purpose. As the pictures show, the shelves are full now. It looks like it is about time to build another one.
On the wall to the left of the bookcase is a shelf I also made. It's called a Swedish wall shelf and I believe the plans for it also came from American Woodworker Magazine.
