DELUXE EXTENSION TABLE
Telescoping table supports plywood and more.
SHOP OWNER: Bill Larson
LOCATION: Bemidji, MN
I am a firm believer in a proper setup when using power tools: the tool is only as good as its setup.
The outfeed table shown here is in its 5th generation. I have always had an outfeed table on my table saw, but this one incorporates an additional table on the left side. This table slides in and out as needed to help support plywood when ripping or crosscutting. I also use the sliding table to create an open space between the outfeed table and the sliding table for circular-sawing or saber-sawing. Just pull the sliding table out and cut.
The sliding table is supported by three oak guides. One (3/4" x 2") slides into the box tubing of the Beisemeyer fence and the other two (6/4" x 2-1/2") slide into melamine box tubes built into the cabinet of the outfeed table....Bill Larson
