Mike's Cradle

ROCK-A-BYE BABY
This little lady seems to be enjoying her new ride!

SHOP OWNER: Mike Larvia
LOCATION: Sedro-Woolley, WA

Here are some pictures of a baby cradle I made out of oak for my granddaughter in April of 2000. I built it in my brother's shop which is a twelve by twelve foot shed with just enough room for his table saw to fit in the middle.
I was just wiping it down with mineral sprits to highlight any glue or areas that needed more sanding. I finished it up just in time to ship it to them and have it there when she got home from the hospital.

My granddaughter is pictured here sitting in the finished cradle. She can get into it but has not figured out how to get out of it yet. This was taken in October of this year (2001), which would make her 17 months old. Wow how time flies!
