GOOD AS NEW
Restoring priceless pianos is an involved process.
SHOP OWNER: Kevin Hancock
LOCATION: Monrovia, MD
This is a 1900 Steinway Art Case piano that I restored a few years ago. The piano had been stripped of its original gold gilding and and was painted antique green back in the 1950s.
After many years of neglect, the cabinet of the piano was in pretty crusty condition with carvings missing and falling off. The piano recieved a full internal restoration by an Annapolis, MD, piano rebuilder before it was sent to me for cabinet restoration and finshing. It is now finished in a traditional rubbed satin black lacquer.. . . Kevin Hancock
